If you want to learn more about it check it out here: I'm happy to report I've set the buffer to 4ms and have zero pops or clicks in Orion, FLStudio, Live, Tracktion3, and Reason. The UI is sort of like reason, you can save chanis, bypass, etc. Included with the nio is an fx rack with focusrite fx - these can run on the hardware with 0 latency or are also supplied for sequencer use as VST plugin rack - in my short tests, the included effects are pretty damned good, they aren't perfect but they're very good. I was initially concerned switching to USB from PCI but it's been a cinch, no issues.
I got a Novation nio 2|4 USB interface, switching from a M-Audio Delta66 and just wanted to give a heads up that this little nio is quite a value for the money.
